A smoother day out with Floor: simpler drop creation, clearer collecting and a refreshed map. The updated collection flow was successfully tested on a real iPhone today. This entry combines today’s updates, v0.22.3–v0.24.10.
App
Create a drop in three steps: choose a spot, set the reward, then review and fund. Drag the map, pinch to zoom, and resume saved drafts.
Collect with a clear countdown, photo instructions, a preview with Retake, and Submit. After payment, choose Share or Explore.
Recover more smoothly from interrupted connections and payments, keeping saved photos and avoiding duplicate submissions.
Explore a larger map with nearby drops sorted by distance, a collapsible list and steadier navigation.
See clearer currency selections, token and chain icons, and the refreshed Floor logo.
Backend
Find downloads, help, privacy, release notes and live numbers together in the web app, with branded link previews.
Browse drop history, photos and posts on World, and navigate without resetting your signed-in wallet.
Enjoy more reliable drop funding and collection, with clearer progress and retry messages.
Open Paid and All claims in admin without crashes on older records.
Season 1's XP rules are set, every claim comes with a floor photo, and rewards are more dependable. The app also has a feedback box.
App
A feedback box in the app: report a bug or share an idea from the You tab, after a verification that didn't pass, or after a claim. Your phone model and app version go with it, and useful reports can earn XP.
Backend
Drops can be funded only with supported tokens.
A drop that has ended or run out leaves the map right away, so nobody walks to a drop that can't pay.
Every claim needs a floor photo.
A reward that was paid always shows as paid, even if something goes wrong after the payment.
Season XP counts up to five of your collections a day and up to thirty collections of your drops a day. A qualifying referral earns 500 XP, for up to ten referrals per season.
Rewards always go to the floor wallet made for your sign-in.
If your connection drops for too long during a verification, you're asked to try again.
The app is reorganised around three tabs, and floor's whole history is now public: every drop ever placed, who collected it, and floor's numbers so far, in the app and at flooronrh.com/get.
Contract
A new drop vault: creators can end a drop at any time and get the unclaimed money back in the same transaction, instead of waiting for it to expire.
If floor has to take a drop down, the unclaimed money also goes straight back to the creator. The vault never lets floor keep it.
The vault can charge a platform fee per collection, capped at 5%. It is off (0%), and any future fee is fixed when a drop is placed and only paid on collections that happen.
Drops placed before this update keep their old vault and rules until they end.
App
Your live drops have an "end drop" button: the drop leaves the map and the money nobody collected comes straight back to your wallet.
The bottom bar is now three tabs: World, Journey and You.
World has a "history" list with every drop ever placed, who collected it, and their floor photos.
"Collected" on the map now shows every drop you collected, not just the latest one, and the map no longer jumps back to you while you look around.
Journey shows your Season 1 progress: XP, rank, milestones, and the dates.
You brings your account, rewards, drops and claims together in one place.
The main map and a drop's map both open full screen.
Backend
Using floor burns FLOOR: every collection burns a set amount, and so does every drop once it is collected. The FLOOR comes from the buyback reserve, not from anyone using the app, and every burn is a public transaction to the dead address.
flooronrh.com/get shows how much FLOOR has been burnt, by the app and by the market, with links to the latest burns.
The web app's "your drops" page can end a live drop and refund it too.
flooronrh.com/get lists every drop ever placed, newest first: its image, reward, status and how many people collected it, with links to its page and to the transaction that funded it.
Under each drop, everyone who collected it: the payout transaction, and their floor photo linking to their post when the photo is on the floor wall.
flooronrh.com/get shows floor's numbers: drops placed and collected, dollars paid out, people who collected, creators, cities, countries and continents reached, and photos on the wall.
Sending from your floor wallet on the web now says in plain words what you are about to sign, for example "You're sending 5 USDG to 0x1d6…8A53 on Robinhood Chain", instead of a generic approval request.
Fixes from this week's testing: searching for a place finds the one near you, a drop's map keeps the zoom you set, and a drop's page says more clearly when it opens and whether you already have it.
App
Searching for a place when you place a drop lists the ones near you first, even if you start typing before your phone has found your location.
The map on a drop's page keeps your zoom and position instead of jumping back every second.
On Android, the "place a drop" button no longer hides the map's zoom buttons. Pinch to zoom.
On Android, tapping a place on the map to put your drop there circles that place instead of covering it with a red pin.
Confirming the spot on the full-screen map without moving it keeps the place's name.
A drop you already claimed says so on its button.
A drop that hasn't opened yet shows its countdown in large type.
The "how it works" steps on a drop match how claiming works now: sharing your photo is optional, and you're paid when the checks pass.
Season 1 is announced, and the web app at app.flooronrh.com grew up: a world map of every place floor has happened, a page for every drop that you can share on Telegram or X, and a much easier way to place and fund drops. In the app you can now share your drops and choose how close people must stand.
App
Share a drop from the app: a share button on every live drop sends its link (with a map preview) to Telegram, X or anywhere, and right after you place a drop the app offers to share it.
Creators choose how close people must stand: 15, 20, 30 or 50 m (30 m by default), in the app and on the web.
A claim no longer stops on one stray GPS reading: the app only ends it when you really walk away.
Backend
Season 1 runs from October 1 to November 15 at app.flooronrh.com/season: earn XP for collecting drops, placing drops other people collect, daily streaks and inviting friends, and see where you stand on a public leaderboard under a name you choose. Your share of the season's XP decides your share of the season airdrop.
Invite links: a friend who signs in through yours and collects their first drop earns you XP. Accounts made to farm XP don't count.
Admins get a season table with everyone's XP and share, can exclude or restore people and reset names, and can download the end-of-season snapshot.
A world map at app.flooronrh.com/world: a globe with every city where drops have happened, the ones you can still collect in green, and live counts. Tap a city to see its live drops. Locations are rounded to the city; the exact spot stays in the app. flooronrh.com has the same globe in a world panel.
Every drop has its own page at app.flooronrh.com/d/… to share on Telegram or X: the drop's image, a map of the spot while it's live, an "open in floor" button on phones and the download for people who don't have the app. Its link preview shows a map of the spot with the drop's image, so every drop looks different. Share it from your drops.
Verification is fairer to GPS drift: a claim no longer fails on a single stray reading. This makes smaller zones practical.
app.flooronrh.com has a home page and the look of flooronrh.com: place a drop, your drops, season and world are tabs that switch without reloading.
The web app and flooronrh.com have the new floor logo, the hand dropping a coin into "floor". In the web app it sits in a header that stays at the top as you scroll.
Placing a drop on the web is easier to fund: each chain shows what your floor wallet holds there, the page says how much more is needed, and you can add a funding wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase or a phone wallet) to send the rest in one step, or copy your address to send from anywhere. It notices incoming money by itself.
Placing a drop on the web takes one click: no more wallet confirmation pop-ups, and the button shows the amount.
Finding the spot is easier: search is forgiving of typos, the pin can be dragged to fine-tune, and the chosen spot is named under the map.
The drop image picker shows the photo you chose, and you can drop an image onto it.
One-tap start times when placing a drop: now, 6 h, 12 h, 24 h or 3 days.
Chain and token icons (Robinhood Chain, Base, Arbitrum; USDG, USDC) across the web app.
The web app has a light mode. It follows your phone or computer setting, and a sun/moon switch in the footer lets you pick one.
The header shows the account you signed in with; the menu explains the floor wallet and lets you copy it or sign out.
City names on the globe stay put across updates and read the way people say them (Prague, not a district).
The withdraw button on your drops is readable again (its label was white on white).
You can now delete your Floor account from the app, and your floor photo stays yours: the paid screen shows it, and stored photos lose their location data. Floor is also submitted for review on the App Store and for a public release on Google Play.
App
Delete your account from the you tab. Your wallet is kept, so anything in it stays yours.
The paid screen shows the photo you took to claim the drop, and your claims show your photo right away instead of "being prepared".
On iPhone, sharing your floor photo goes through the share sheet: pick X or any app and post it yourself. Floor no longer keeps an X connection on iPhone; one made earlier is disconnected. Android keeps one-tap posting from your connected X account.
The giveaway rules now say that claims are checked automatically and flagged ones go to a person.
Text in the place-a-drop fields and the place search sits in the middle of the box on iPhone instead of low.
The demo no longer shows an empty strip under its banner on the drop, claim and place-a-drop screens.
Backend
Photos you upload for a claim or a drop are stored without location or camera details: the app and the server both remove them.
Deleting an account removes your sign-in details, photos, X connection, location trails and history, and keeps only anonymous payout records.
Admins can cancel a drop from the admin panel. It leaves the map and takes no new claims. Its unclaimed tokens stay in the vault until the drop expires, then the creator can withdraw them as usual.
Infra
flooronrh.com has a support page, and [email protected] now reaches the team.
The privacy policy lists everything the app collects today, including place search through OpenStreetMap services.
Posting on X is now optional, and posting takes one tap: Floor posts your floor photo from your own X account as you claim.
App
You can claim with just your floor photo: posting on X is no longer required.
Connect your X account once, and "post on X & claim" posts your photo with the drop's text from your account and submits the claim in the same tap. No more copying text, switching apps or pasting links.
Connect or disconnect your X account from the you tab.
Backend
Claims without an X post can still pay themselves automatically when the location check and photo are clean.
A reward only pays itself when Floor can confirm the phone is genuine; otherwise a person looks first.
Backend
Claims from a phone that fails the device check, including Android installs from the website download, now wait for a person to approve them instead of paying automatically. Nobody is blocked from claiming.
Two fixes for iPhones that got stuck, ahead of wider public testing.
App
When Sign in with Apple fails without giving a reason, the app now suggests checking that you're signed in to your Apple Account, or using Google, instead of showing Apple's raw error.
If Apple Maps won't open for walking directions, the drop page opens Google Maps on the web instead, and if no maps app opens at all it shows the drop's coordinates for you to copy.
Built from a day of field testing: search finds the place you mean as you type, drops sit on the map as pins with their picture, and placing one takes fewer decisions.
App
Searching for a place now finds it as you type and puts the nearest match first, instead of needing the full name and answering with another country.
The placement map no longer hides its own zoom buttons behind the full-screen control, shows where you are standing, and can recentre on you.
Pick a collection time on a scrolling clock, with a shorter list of one-tap presets.
Drops appear on the map as pins with their picture inside, instead of cards.
The name of the place you picked is shown clearly when placing a drop and on the drop page.
Place a drop from a button on the map.
Your drop is funded from the chain your money is on; you are only asked when you hold funds on more than one.
Your collected drops show the photo you took, instead of the drop's art.
The you tab now shows which app version you are running and whether the latest update has been applied, so a tester can report it without digging through phone settings.
Drops are no longer tied to one blockchain. Creators can fund a drop on Base or Arbitrum with the USDC they already hold, instead of moving money somewhere else first, and Robinhood Chain stays the default and the home of FLOOR.
Contract
The drop vault runs on Base and Arbitrum as well as Robinhood Chain, with a separate vault on each.
App
Pick the chain when you place a drop and fund it with money you already hold there, instead of moving it first.
A drop says which chain it pays on, and your rewards, balances and sends are each shown with their chain.
Withdrawing what a finished drop did not pay out happens on that drop's own chain.
Backend
Drops, payouts and gas can run on Base and Arbitrum, with USDC on both, alongside USDG on Robinhood Chain.
A chain is switched on once its vault is live, with no code change; the app offers each chain as soon as it knows how to sign on it.
A fix for testers who installed the Android app from Google Play.
App
Installs that came from Google Play are no longer told to download the Android file from the website. Their phone could not install it over a Play install, and Play delivers those updates anyway.
Placing a drop is now about the place rather than the coordinates: find somewhere by name, tap it on the map, aim it full screen, and say exactly when collection opens. Collectors can look back at the photo they posted, and every drop carries the name of where it sits.
Contract
The token, the team vesting schedule and the team beneficiary now have their full source code published on the block explorer, so anyone can read the rules behind the floor, the team lock and the trading fee for themselves.
Contract links on the tokenomics page now open an explorer that shows the published source.
App
Place a drop by searching for somewhere by name and picking it from the suggestions, or jump straight to where you are standing.
Tap a place on the map while placing a drop and the drop keeps its name, on Android where the map reports what you tapped.
Open the placement map full screen to set the spot precisely, and confirm it before it moves.
Schedule collection for an exact day and time on a 24-hour clock, alongside the one-tap presets.
A drop shows the place it sits at, on its own page and in your list of drops.
A drop page is headed by the name the creator gave it instead of the word "drop".
Look at the photo you collected a drop with again, full screen, from your claims — and see when it made it onto the wall at flooronrh.com.
Explore the real app screens with sample drops, claims, rewards and creator funds before signing in; demo actions stay separate from real accounts.
The Android download on the website is the current app version again, and installs from it receive in-app updates.
Backend
Admin accounts can place small test drops from the app, down to a single reward for a single person, without the minimums that apply to everyone else.
More feedback from the Android field test made finding and verifying a drop simpler. Photos can still be saved immediately, and claim submission now waits for your confirmation.
App
Open every nearby drop from one consistent row showing its title, reward and distance.
See the live map, walking directions and verification action together on the drop page.
Start verification with a fresh GPS fix inside the zone, and stop immediately when the reported location leaves the zone or becomes unreliable.
See photo upload progress, with original photos streamed directly and slow uploads allowed to continue while making progress.
Review your photo and post link before submitting; copied X links no longer submit claims automatically.
Reopen X from the claim screen to wait for a post to finish and copy its link.
Backend
Avoid unnecessary Android integrity reviews caused by small differences between server clocks.
Android field testing led to clearer directions and a more reliable photo-to-post flow. The tester completed a real location verification and submitted a claim.
App
Keep the map’s open-drop button visible while browsing nearby drops.
Find a drop on a live in-app map, with a separate option for walking directions in your maps app.
Share or save your photo while an upload retries after a connection failure.
Prevent repeated share taps from opening conflicting requests and show sharing errors beside the photo controls.
Follow clearer X posting steps and paste your copied post link into the claim.
The claim screen now shows what is happening to your reward, step by step.
App
After you submit, the screen walks through checking your post and photo, sending your reward, and paid, with a live indicator on the current step.
If something needs a person, the screen says exactly what: a tag missing from your post, a post older than your visit, a photo that could not go on the wall, or a reward that could not be sent yet.
The claims list shows “checking your post” and “sending reward” instead of a blanket “pending review”.
Clean claims now pay themselves the moment they are submitted, so a reward no longer waits for an admin to be awake. Photos are screened before they reach the wall.
App
After you submit a claim the app checks your post and photo and tells you when the reward is paid, usually within a minute; only doubtful claims wait for review.
If a floor photo cannot be used on the wall you are told so, and it never affects your reward.
Backend
Claims with a clean verification trail, a matching public X post and an ordinary floor photo are approved, paid and put on the wall automatically; anything flagged goes to admin review as before, with the check results shown next to the trail.
A post that is not visible yet is checked again over the next twelve minutes before the claim is handed to a person.
Floor photos are screened for explicit content before they can appear on the wall; rejected photos count as a strike on the account.
Admins can ban an account from claim review; a banned account cannot sign in.
Claim review is easier to read, with larger photos and clear verification details. The download page is simpler to browse, with updated safety and privacy information.
App
The download page now has a short getting-started guide and expandable installation and safety questions.
Updated the website’s safety and privacy information to explain wallet transactions, location trails, photo storage, app integrity checks and over-the-air updates.
Backend
Claim review now gives photos, verification details and payment controls room to read on desktop and mobile.
Find your first drop with guided onboarding, browse upcoming and collected drops, and save named destinations for future reward sends. Creators can announce drops before collection opens.
App
A skippable introduction and first-drop guide explain how to find a drop, verify your visit, and collect a reward after review.
Browse collected drops and see upcoming drops with countdowns on the map.
Android users get a dismissible reminder when a newer app download is available.
Save and name recipient addresses on the reward page for future sends.
Backend
Creators and admins can announce funded drops before a scheduled collection time.
Two anti-cheat layers for verification. The app now refuses simulated locations, and the next app build proves it is a genuine, unmodified app on a real device.
App
Verification now fails when the phone reports a simulated location.
The app (from build 1.1.0) attests itself with Apple App Attest or Google Play Integrity when a verification starts.
Backend
Claim review shows the device attestation result next to the other trail flags.
Your rewards now have a home in the app: see what you’ve collected, what remains in your wallet, and where you’ve sent it.
App
A new Rewards tab shows your wallet balance, lifetime collected rewards, post and transaction links, and transfers sent through Floor; sending opens the wallet website.
The reward website shows lifetime totals, estimated USDG dollar value, reward posts, and sent transfers with their confirmation status.
Drop details load while location is being found, with retry options when loading fails.
A dismissible reminder lets you restart when an app update is ready, outside claims and payment flows.
Backend
Admins can see where people stop while collecting or creating drops, with separate signals for verification failures, pending payouts, and unfunded drafts.
Creators get their own tools: drop art, a web dashboard, and withdrawing what was not claimed.
App
Creators can add their own image to a drop. It shows on the drop screen, in the drop lists, and in the "you got paid" celebration.
Creators can withdraw the unclaimed money from a finished drop straight from the "you" tab.
Backend
Creators can place drops from the browser at app.flooronrh.com/create: sign in with the same Google or Apple account as the app, pick the spot on a map, set the reward and how many people, add an optional image, and pay from the Floor wallet. Gas is covered.
app.flooronrh.com/drops lists your drops with claims so far, lets you add or change a drop's image, and withdraws unclaimed money back to your wallet once a drop has ended.
Anyone can now put money on the floor. Place a drop from the app, pay from your Floor wallet, and it goes live on the map the moment the deposit confirms.
App
Anyone can now place a drop from the app: tap "place a drop" on the map, pick the spot, set the reward per person and how many people, and pay from your Floor wallet. Gas is covered by Floor. The drop goes live on the map as soon as the deposit confirms.
The "you" tab lists the drops you placed, with how many people have claimed each.
Backend
Drops created by app users are tied to their account and capped at 5 open drops, 100 claims and 90 days each.
Sign-in works again after the latest app update, and the website now links to DropVault’s verified source on Robinhood Etherscan.
App
Fixed sign-in failing with "JSON Parse error" on today's earlier updates: the app was pointed at the wrong server. Sign in works again after the app restarts twice.
Website links open Robinhood Etherscan, including the published DropVault source.
Walking directions make drops easier to find, creators can leave a short thank-you message, and the reward page spells out each send before you confirm it. The app also has a new look and a dedicated account tab.
App
New "you" tab with your account, wallet link, the rules and sign out. The rules and sign out links no longer sit on top of the map controls.
Sign-in failures are reported to us automatically, and a sign-in service hiccup now shows "sign-in service unavailable, try again in a minute" instead of a raw error.
The app now looks like flooronrh.com: black and off-white only, tracked uppercase labels, big lowercase headlines, square corners. Every screen was redrawn: map, drop, verification countdown, claim, claims list, reward, login and rules.
Transaction and wallet links in the app and on the reward page now open Robinhood Etherscan.
Drop screen: a "directions" button opens walking directions to the drop in your maps app.
After submitting a claim, you can see a short message from the drop creator.
Backend
Before you confirm a reward send, a plain sentence shows the amount, token and destination address.
Admins can add an optional creator message of up to 140 characters when creating a drop.
New builds for both platforms so every phone has the camera and crash reporting the last release needs. Android testers: install the new APK from flooronrh.com/get over the old one, your login is kept.
App
New Android and iOS builds (app version 1.0.1) with the camera picker and crash reporting built in. Earlier Android builds no longer receive updates that need them.
The install page at flooronrh.com/get has a privacy tab and an "Is it safe?" section: no wallet keys on the phone, location only while verifying, a public reward contract, reviewed builds, and how to get your data deleted. The privacy page has a matching Safety section listing every permission the app asks for.
The Android download now shows the SHA-256 fingerprint of the APK, with commands to check the file you installed against it.
Every claim now leaves a floor photo behind, the X post step is down to a few taps, and anyone can install floor from flooronrh.com/get. Field testers in Copenhagen and Portugal named the post step as the slow part of a claim; this release is the answer.
App
The app now reports crashes to us automatically, so a failure in the field is visible without anyone having to tell us.
Claiming now asks for one photo of the floor at the drop, taken with the camera or picked from the library, before the X post step. The photo may be shown on the floor wall at flooronrh.com, and the claim screen says so.
The X post step is shorter: tap Open X, post, copy the link in X, and come back. The link fills in by itself and the claim submits after a 3-second countdown with an Undo button. "Copy text" is now a small fallback link under Open X.
Backend
Floor photos are stored in Cloudflare R2: the original stays in a private archive, and web-sized copies are made only once an admin approves the photo, so nothing unreviewed is ever publicly reachable. The claims table shows each photo with Put on wall, Take off wall and Reject photo actions; approving a claim also approves its photo, rejecting a claim rejects it.
A public endpoint lists wall-approved photos for the website.
Release notes and install links now live on the public page at flooronrh.com/get, which updates itself after every build and release. The admin panel no longer has a changelog page.
floor now runs on Android alongside iOS, and a rejected claim no longer locks someone out of a drop: they can verify again and submit a new post. Verification is a third shorter at 20 seconds, and paid rewards arrive with a celebration.
App
Verification now takes 20 seconds instead of 30, so claiming a drop is quicker.
Paid rewards now arrive with confetti and a clear reward amount, celebrated in the app even when the push notification is missed. Submitted claims show a pending-review confirmation.
The floor wordmark is now the app icon, splash screen, and the logo and favicon on the admin and reward pages.
Android version available for direct install (APK). Push notifications on Android come later.
Backend
Admin panel and reward page follow the system light or dark theme, with a toggle in the header.
A rejected claim no longer locks someone out of the drop: they can verify again and submit another post.
The same X post can back only one claim, so a second account cannot reuse a link that is already in review or paid.
First working end-to-end version. Proven in the field in Peroj, Croatia: login, verify, post, approve, payout, reward page, send.
Contract
DropVault on Robinhood Chain: create drops, claim with a signed voucher, one claim per wallet per drop, creator withdraw. Deployed at 0x3B1A04de1a0f152BebF33DBCc898A8b9FCEd0D70.
Scripts for deploy, deposit (approve + createDrop) and withdraw.
App
Sign in with Apple or Google.
Map with active drops: reward, distance, claims left.
Drop detail, 30 s verification screen with live GPS accuracy, X post hand-off, claim history with status.
Push notification when a reward is paid or a claim is rejected.
Reward page opens in Safari with a one-time link, no second login for balance.
Sweepstakes rules screen.
Backend
API for sessions, drops, verification, claims, reward links.
Anti-spoofing checks on every verification; doubtful claims are flagged for review.
Admin panel: create drops with a map, pending claims with trail summary and approve/reject, relayer balance.
Relayer pays gas so users never need ETH.
Reward page: balance, keep, or send to any address with gas covered.
Infra
Backend on Railway at app.flooronrh.com with Postgres/PostGIS, DNS via Cloudflare.
Privy app with Apple, Google, embedded wallets, Robinhood Chain defined in code.
